Hawthorn University is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Hawthorn University must provide prospective students with information on completion rates, placement rates and license examination pass rates for each program as part of the BPPE regulatory requirements.
Please be aware, that the graduation rates included in the BPPE fact sheets are based on learners who complete their programs within the published completion time as required by BPPE. However, the majority of our students are working adults with families, Hawthorn University offers the flexibility of allowing our students to take courses one at a time and complete their programs at their own pace. Due to this, many of our students complete their programs beyond the published time for completion.
