Students seeking withdrawal must notify the University of his/her desire to withdraw. An online withdrawal request from the student portal is preferred, although a request can be in any form, written or verbal. Refunds, if applicable and requested, will be made by the Bursar's office as outlined below within 30 days. The withdrawal becomes official when the student receives final written notification from the University.
Any student who cancels enrollment in a course within seven (7) days of acceptance of the Enrollment Agreement or payment for the course is entitled a full refund. Students who cancel or withdraw after the seven days are entitled to a refund based on their progress in the course. Percentage completion is calculated as the number of days enrolled in a course divided by the number of days allowed to complete the course not including extensions. Example: A student enrolled for 20 days in a 3 credit course which has a 60 day term, would have a completion percentage of 33.3% and be due a refund of 50% of tuition paid for the course.
