CE Course Requirements

Students must have access to a computer with the following configurations in order to benefit and easily navigate Hawthorn University’s Continuing Education learning platform.

Window Users

1. Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, or 8
2. Minimum of 512 MB Memory
3. Broadband Connection
4. Soundcard and Speakers
5. Browser: Google Chrome version 25 or higher (Recommended)
   Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher/Mozilla Firefox 22.0 or higher
   (If Internet Explorer 10 or higher is used, it must be in Compatibility View.
   Instructions for configuring Compatibility View are available in the Forms/Publications section of the student's learning portal.)
6. Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download)

Mac Users

1. Mac OS X or higher
2. Minimum of 256 MG Memory
3. Broadband Connection
4. Speakers
5. Browser: Google Chrome version 25 or higher (Recommended)
   Safari 5.0 or higher/Mozilla Firefox 22.0 or higher
