Even the healthiest of us have areas of our lives in need of greater balance and attention. This presentation weaves the wisdom of Ayurveda, Yoga and Holistic Nutrition into a simple formula for improving one's whole life health that is effective for both wellness professionals and individuals seeking tools for more vibrant living. Danielle Ryan, MS, NC is a graduate of Hawthorn University's Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition program and holds Bachelor's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Psychology and Anthropology. She is a certified Raja yoga instructor, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor and NOLS Outdoor Educator. Her work empowers clients and students to embrace greater health in all aspects of life through transformational retreats, customized cleansing programs, wellness workshops, private and group yoga and meditation classes, as well as nutrition consultations. Danielle and her husband, Evan are in the process of creating an organic permaculture farm and holistic education center called Pono Grown on the island of Maui. Pono is the Hawaiian word for "wellbeing" and "doing what is right." This concept serves as the foundation for Danielle's life and work.
